Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps

Classic Movie Line, Wall Street (Money Never Sleeps), Micheal Douglass, playing the infamous, Gordon Gecko, after a seven year prison sentence is booked to speak at a college assembly. He's introduced by the female professor, he takes the podium, and said, "You all are F*&%$".

Translation: "By the time you get to be my age these dudes your parents voted for will have you all on soup lines."

Blade

Classic Movie Line, Blade, Wesley Snipes is sitting in the car waiting for the police officer/traitor for the vampires to come out Karen's (being played by the beautiful actress N'Bushe Wright) apartment and lead him to his Boss/Handler. Karen ask Snipes "how do you know he will lead you to his handler", Snipes replies, "Once you understand the nature of a thing; you know what's it's capable of".

Translation: "Good or bad, we know what except from the people and things we are most familiar with."

Absolute Power

Classic Movie Line, "Absolute Power", Clint Eastwood have high jacked the character Walter Sullivan (being played by E.G. Marshall) posing as the driver of his limousine. Clint is explaining to Walter what really happen on the night of the death of Walter's wife. As the they pass the White House Walter states "I don't believe you". Clint then says, "We're too old to bull shit each other..."

Translation: "The truth may stink sometime, but time is too short to ignore it"

Karate Kid (2010)

Classic Movie Line, "Karate Kid" Jackie Chan and the character Dre (being played by Jaden Smith) has reach the top of Dragon Mountain. Dre notice a woman who appeared to be imitating a snake with her movement. Chan then explains to Dre she was not imitating the snake, but the snake was imitating her. Dre then makes the comment, "The snake was reflecting her movement as she stood doing nothing". Chan then corrects Dre by explaining she was being still. Chan then says, "there a different between doing nothing and standing still..."

Translation: "Doing nothing is a product of carelessness, being still is a product of discipline..."

The Dark Knight

Classic Movie Line, "The Dark Night", The Joker (played by the late great Heath Ledger) barges into the room filled with Mob Bosses. He discusses his plan which bottom line is to destroy Batman. They laugh, and one of the bosses ask, "Why haven't you already killed him". Heath Ledger replies, "If your good at something never do it for free..."

Translation: "If you like what I can do, Show me the money..."

I Am Legend

Classic Movie Line, "I Am Legend", Will Smith is in his lab when the character Anna (played by Alice Braga) brings him a cup of coffee. She see the zombie Smith managed to capture on the lab table and after a few brief comments she says, "My God", Smith quickly cuts her off says with intensity, "No, God do this Anna, We did..."

Translation: "When man ultimately kills everybody on the planet, don't blame God..."

Valkyrie

Classic Movie Line: "Valkyrie", Tom Cruz excuses himself from the meeting of dignitaries planning to over throw Hitler. In a brief meeting with General Tresckow in the (played by Kenneth Branagh) in the foray Cruz say, "These men are confusing popularity with respect...".

Translation, "Just because something is popular doesn't mean people will honor it".

Taken

Classic Movie Lines, "Taken", Liam Neeson is on the phone with his daughter as she is kidnapped. The kidnappers pick up the phone and Liam slowly says a few words before he informs them "What I do have is a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career..."

Translation: "I'm a goverment trained killer in a national recession. This ain't what you want..."

Rush Hour

Classic Movie Lines, "Rush Hour", the bomb vest snaps off Jackie Chan and the character, Griffin (played by Tom Wilkinson) falls from the Convention Center ceiling to the indoor pool, Splash! Chris Tucker yells, "Whewww, You know he dead".

Translation, "Some things you don't have to guess about..."
